I can’t recommend Stomping Boondocks enough. They provided Ceilidh and DJ-ing for our farm wedding and were fantastic. The Ceilidh was fun and pitched at just the right level for our group, and the DJ-ing was fab too. They were always happy to answer my questions and took our unusual location, in a field with no road access, totally in stride. I would absolutely recommend the Stomping Boondocks for anyone looking for a great Ceilidh band.

What an amazing time we had dancing to the Stomping Boondocks. They guys were great from start to finish and made sure the party will be one everyone remembers. Communication from start to finish was excellent and I highly recommend these guys should you want to get your guests up on the floor.

Stomping Boondocks are a talented band who provide great entertainment at an affordable price! All correspondence was well responded to, with the band taking time and effort in carrying out our requests far better than expected.

Genuinely the best band and the best choice for our wedding day!
We had a massive Ceilidh which was super fun! The band went above and beyond, setting up at the venue before guests arrived and sorting out all of our sound needs throughout the reception. Before the day, Karl had been really helpful and clearly communicated everything to us, and on the day everything ran so smoothly. Many of our guests said how talented the band was and how it was the best Ceilidh they’d been to. I highly recommend that you book them for your event!!

We hired the Stomping Boondocks for our wedding last month, and they went above and beyond to make the evening a memorable one! Most of our guests had no idea what was involved in a ceilidh, and were a bit reticent about taking part, but the caller was patient and helpful and soon everyone was having a great time. Several relatives who were planning on leaving early got sucked into the dancing and ended up staying until the end of the evening.
Although we had initially agreed on 2 sets with a break in between, the band was good at reading the room, and gave us breaks when we needed it I’ve no idea how long they played for in the end, but it definitely seemed like longer than planned! Thank you so much for making our wedding awesome!

Absolutely made our night! They managed to wrangle a 100+ crowd and get them on their feet for a ceilidh. Karl was an excellent caller and adapted instructions and routines as he went, ensuring everyone felt welcome and included.
The music was full of energy and exactly what we were after; as a family of Murphys, we were very happy with the song/dance choices and loved every second. We honestly could not be happier, and neither could our guests: it was the highlight of the night for many, and we couldn’t have picked a better band. A massive diolch yn fawr from Mr and Mrs Murphy!
